How can students bring Philadelphia’s Black musical legacy to life? Dr. Jay Fluellen’s CAPA Jazz Ensemble researched and performed music connected to the Aqua Lounge, then turned a student’s poem about 52nd Street into original compositions, creating a living archive through sound.
